Back Country Flying Guides - Galen Hanselman authors outstanding guidebooks on back country flying in Idaho, Baja, Montana and Utah.  In addition to pictures and runway information you will find information on things to do in the area and interesting historical information for each airstrip.  These books are a must have if you are going to be visiting back country airstrips in the area.

Out There Flying Videos  - If a picture is worth a thousand words a video must be worth a thousand pictures.  Jim Clark makes excellent back country flying videos that let you become familiar with the challenges of back country airstrips before your first visit.

Mountain Flying - Sparky Imeson has authored dozens of books and articles on mountain and back country flying.  The Mountain Flying Bible is the definitive work on mountain flying.  His website has a wealth of free information on mountain flying to help you prepare for your adventures.
